Connect Families, Loved Ones and Caregivers…

Connect Families, Loved Ones and Caregivers…

Our aim is to connect families in need of a caregiver with a caregiver or a healthcare provider as fastas wisely possible. Caregivers’ services are critical because caregivers spend the most time with the ailing family member or client and lack of their services can cause large disruption to both work and care schedules. Our goal is to help avoid disruption to work and care schedules for families and their loved ones. Besides connecting families in need of caregivers with a caregiver or a care provider, we also present employment opportunities from employers such as Adult Family Homes, Home Health Agency,Skilled Nursing Facility, Assisted Living Homes, etc to caregivers.

A Means to Find Support, Gather Resources, Learn, Interact, and Share…

Kinshealth will enlist support and gather resources from its users and their families, for cause and non-profit organizations, healthcare providers, relevant government agencies. These support and services are important because most Long Term Care (LTC) is provided at home by families. Research has shownthat most families are not well prepared for the challenges and the difficulties that come with care-giving. According to Rosa lynn Carter Institute of Caregiving, family caregivers face risks to their physical and mental health, finances, employment and retirement. Further, these same families have to mak every important and hard decisions involving their loved ones such as financial planning, legal issues, end of life issues, LTC providers and settings and even driving. The whole experience is filled with dead-ends and fraught. By enlisting support, gathering resources and providing families with a way to interact with each other and with professionals close to them, Kinshealth hopes to play an important guiding role to families and their loved ones.

Partnering with Trainers

Kinshealth will display information about local vocational and training programs that offer care-giving courses. Some of these courses such as CPR/FA are simple, effective and even life saving. Partnering with local vocational and training programs will likely lead to a best fit match when families and employers hire care givers.
